Settler stabs teen in Hebron, dozens wounded in clashes

A Palestinian teenager on Monday night sustained light injuries after he was stabbed by an Israeli settler in Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the Old City of Hebron, in addition to dozens were reportedly injured during clashes in the city.

Security sources said that Bahaa Al-Madhoun (16) was stabbed by an Israeli settler, but sustained light injuries and was rushed to the hospital by medics.

Sources added that tens of citizens were injured  in Bab Al-Zawiya clashes in the center of the city, after IOF opened rubber-coated metal bullets and teargas towards them.

Clashes expanded to Halhul, Bani Nu’aim and Beit Ummar villages north of the city, in addition to the Al-Fawwar and Al-Arroub refugee camps.

PNN reporter said that IOF closed down all the entrances of the city, set flying checkpoints and raided some homes.

Violent clashes broke out in cities all over the West Bank, including Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah, in addition to demonstrations in the occupied cities of Haifa and Nazareth, after the execution of 13-year-old schoolboy, Abdul-Rahman Obeidallah when he was going home from school.

Abdul-Rahman is the fourth Palestinian to be killed by IOF since October 1st,and tensions have been rising starting with settler attacks on Al-Aqsa mosque last month during Jewish holidays.
