Ynet Israeli website on Sunday released report about the situation of the 4-year-old, Ahmad Dawabsheh, whose family was murdered in an Israeli settler arson attack on July 31.
Ahmad sustained third level burns on 60-90% of his body. After two months in the ICU, the child is still recovering in Sheba Israeli hospital.
Only yesterday, he had his bandages removed for two days, but doctors put them back to make sure the recovery is complete.
Ahmad’s 11 month old brother, Ali Dawabsheh was burned to death on the day of the arson attack, when Israeli settlers threw burning cocktails into their room overnight. The father passed away a week after, and the mother was announced dead of her wounds in the beginning of September.
Ahmad’s hair has partially grown back, and he has been scratching his ears, which is a good sign of recovery.
However, he keeps on asking about his family and why his mother is not visiting him, continually crying.
On September 9, The Israeli minister of Army, Moshe Ya’alon said that the occupation authorities know the identity of the terrorist attackers on Duma, however, “the person isn’t being brought to justice in order to avoid exposing intel sources in court,” Ya’alon said in a closed meeting of about 20 Likud members.
