IOF kidnap 12 West Bank youths

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Tuesday overnight launched a wide raid and kidnap campaign across the West Bank. IOF reportedly kidnapped 12 youths from all over the West Bank. The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that IOF soldiers stormed the city and district villages of Jenin in large numbers, and arrested four local youths after violently breaking into their homes.

PIC also reported that one of the detainees was a former political prisoner in PA jails, while a second suffers from wounds he sustained during a previous arrest.

In Bethlehem, IOF arrested a 16-year-old boy after storming and searching his parents’ home in Hussan village.

Two other youths were summoned for investigation after storming their homes in the city, local sources said.

Following the raid campaign, violent clashes broke out in the city amid heavy fire of tear gas and sound bombs on the part of the IOF troops.

The sources pointed out that three boys were also arrested after being summoned for investigation in Gush Etizon settlement bloc.

In Hebron, IOF arrested an 18-year-old youth at a military checkpoint erected at the entrance of Tarqumiya checkpoint.

Three other arrests were reported in Nabi Salah village west of Ramallah. The detainees were taken to an unknown detention center.
