Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) this morning opened fire on farmers east of Gaza City on agricultural land and near the homes of citizens.
According to official sources, IOF soldiers stationed in military watchtowers in the buffer zone east of Zaytoon neighbourhood opened fire with live ammunition towards agricultural lands and residential areas. No injuries were reported.
The sources stressed that unusual IOF activity was reported along the buffer zone in Gaza and specifically east of al-Maghazi refugee camp.
Farmers in Gaza are fired upon by the IOF daily in constant Israeli violation of the ceasefire truce reached with Hamas last summer.
