Israeli sources on Tuesday said that a rocket was fired from Gaza into occupied Askalan (Ashkelon) south Israel, with no injuries reported. Hours later, Israeli occupation forces have shelled agricultural lands in Beit Hanoun north Gaza.
According to Israeli media, a rocket from Gaza landed near the coast of Askalan in an open depopulated area, and was intercepted. The Israeli army on twitter said that sirens went off in Zikhim, Karmiya and Yad Mordekhai.
Israeli F16 jets have been buzzing Gaza’s skies since the early morning on low heights, especially in the northern areas.
