Hebron: elderly Palestinian suffers heart attack during Israeli raid

An elderly Palestinian woman on Thursday suffered a heart attack as Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) broke into her family home in al-Samou’ town south of Hebron.

WAFA reported yesterday that a large number of IOF soldiers raided the town where they vandalised and ransacked the local home belonging to Ahmad al-Daghamin.

IOF soldiers allegedly verbally assaulted al-Daghamin’s elderly wife, Halima (68), and other family members, and threatened violence. Halima subsequently suffered a heart attack.

She was then transferred to al-Ahli hospital in Hebron, where doctors confirmed a heart attack resulting from severe psychological stress. Her condition was reported as stable, according to IMEMC.

Palestinian residents of Hebron suffer from regular Israeli raids as well as attacks from settlers living illegally inside the city.
