The president of the American Central Information Agency (CIA), John Brennan, reaffirmed on Sunday that the information, security and military relations between the United States and Israel would not be affected by the dispute concerning the nuclear agreement currently being negotiated with Iran.

In an interview with news agency CBS, Brennan clarified that despite possible policy differences between the governments of the two countries, professionals responsible for the fields of information and security knew that it was imperative to prioritize their countries’ security.

He added that despite the large disputes related to the negotiations with Iran, the CIA and other American information agencies work in close cooperation with their Israeli counterparts.
